Purpose

The Dallas Entertainment Awards is a prestigious ceremony designed to honor and celebrate the

exceptional contributions of individuals and entities within the Dallas entertainment industry. This

event recognizes the diverse talents and hard work of artists, performers, technicians, writers,

photographers, producers, and many more who have significantly impacted the local entertainment

scene.

With a wide array of categories, these awards acknowledge achievements in various aspects of the

entertainment industry, including music, performance arts, production, and creative roles. What sets

these awards apart is their inclusivity – as long as nominees meet the specified criteria, they are

eligible to be recognized.

Criteria for Nominations:

To ensure a fair and meaningful selection process, the criteria for Dallas Entertainment Awards nominations are as follows:

Active Participation: Nominees must have actively performed or contributed to the vibrant Dallas Music, Arts, and Culture scene in the year 2023. This includes but is not limited to live performances, productions, or any other form of creative performance that enriches our cultural landscape.
Creative Output: Nominees should have released an album, EP, music video, or other relevant content in the same year, 2023. This showcases a commitment to creative output and innovation within the local arts community.
Residency: Nominees are required to reside within the North Texas region. This criterion emphasizes our dedication to acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of local talents, artists, and creatives who call North Texas their home.
